Business Information System

The philosophy behind a "User" of B.I.S. is built in levels of access to the information.

The main form will display how many active users are in the system at a certain moment and how many system admnistrators.

The system ships with 4 pre-programmed users

  1. SUPERUSER
  2. VIEWUSER
  3. DEV
  4. ALEX

These user are to be used to start your own company users and as a backup in case of a forgotten password.

Superuser and Alex are the system administrator user types which will allow adding/editing new users.

To add a new user please flow the next steps:

  1. Specify a user name
  2. Change password to a specific password that will be communicated to the user (i.e BIS1)
  3. Grant access right following the next chart:
  1. Level 9 - System administrator - Full access granted
  2. Level 8 - Full access granted - no system administrator privileges.
  3. Level 5-7 - First level of access
  4. Level 2-4 - Second level of access
  5. Level 1 - Lowest level of access
  1. Enter email address of the user ( will be used for communications default with suppliers/clients)
  2. Enter user picture (or use the selection button with preview enabled for selection)
  3. Click 'Force Password Change' so that the user will be forced to change his password  the first time he logs into the system.prev.jpg (28071 bytes).
