This control feature dubbed: "Internal
export charges venue" allows tracking of costs associated with the
export operation based on Origin of Goods and Destination of Goods.
It is fully
customizable for currency charges and allows multiple effective dates for
the same currency.
Different charges will have to be entered for AIR
transportation and for SEA transportation. If a charge is not included the
"Direct cost" component of the quoted price will be zero.
The effective date of the quotation will be used
to match the charge date and build the quoted price. If the effective date is
not found the most recent charge will be used.
TIP:
To add a charge based on a currency that hasn't been yet entered, go to
Country/Currency and add the currency first.
