STEP 1 The task ID is generated by B.I.S. and it is unique per point of sales. The date should always be today's date and it can be set as a default value in the respective default values section of Control.
Please always assign the newly created task to the designated user by using the dropdown box provided. Depending on the level of security allowed, the box will be populated with all the users in the system or just with the current user name. TIP: Assign a security level of 8 to your entry point user and ask him to assign tasks to user ID's Due date of the task and the status Sourcing If the operation you are creating a new task is with a sourcing purpose please add at the beginning of the task descriptor (name) the word "SOURCING" That will tell B.I.S. that this specific record can be retrieved for sourcing purposes. (i.e. the task name should be : HTML generation for Web site purposes can be invoked for all sourcing products.
Existing product If the new task is created for an existing product B.I.S. recommends using the product name as a task descriptor (i.e.the task name should be:
New catalog of products If the new task is created for a new offering from a supplier B.I.S. recommends using the catalog name as a task descriptor and if any of the products are accepted by clients new tasks should be created.
STEP 2 Product selection has to be done at this stage and together with that a supplier has to be chosen.

product) type the reference number or use the If the product is unknown: type the name of the
product you are looking for and click on the If the search is unsuccessful, or the product is
not found for the specific supplier you are dealing with click the Once the product has been entered, product
information can be emailed to potential suppliers
