You can create a new product either from the Control/Goods section or in the process of creating a new task.

For both ways information is handled in a similar manner.

Due to uniqueness requirements of the reference number B.I.S. will allocate a reference number which is the actual time the product is created. Please change that number to something more symbolic yet unique. B.I.S. will check the unique reference you have entered and flag any possible conflicts.

Adding products will default to the point of sales that the user is logged in.

From this section of B.I.S. a new supplier can be added and in this way the whole process of sourcing can be accomplished in one shot.
