In order to be able to operate multiple currencies on shipping documents (i.e. Buy in Hong Kong dollars and sell in Euro) all currencies and their exchange rate versus the US dollar have to be entered. B.I.S. allows fully customizable currency symbols although international symbols are recommended. Euro (€) support is included depending on the WINDOWS(R) version you are currently running B.I.S. on. Please go to Microsoft web site (http://www.microsoft.com) for the most current service pack with Euro support.Exchange rates could be downloaded from your banking package but will require manual input. The effective date of the B.I.S. document (i.e. INVOICE) will be used to match the currency validity date and build the quoted price. If the effective date is not found the most recent exchange rate will be used.
TIP: If a currency exchange rate doesn't change (i.e. fixed vs. US Dollar) enter a valid date of 01/01/YYYY for each year of operations and B.I.S. will make reference to that for the duration of that year
